Keystone is located in the Black Hills region of Pennington County at the base of Mount Rushmore National Memorial.

The elevation of 4331' and being nestled in a valley accounts for exceptional weather; the glories of all four seasons can be experienced in Keystone.

The Town of Keystone serves the needs of the millions of memorial visitors.

Our public park has a baseball field, tennis court, basketball court and several playgrounds.

The park also has picnic shelters and beautiful scenery with

Battle Creek running through.

Within minutes of our town outdoor activities await! Swimming, fishing, hiking, mountain climbing, rappelling & biking and all in the beautiful scenery of The Black Hills National Forrest.

Keystone is centrally located for easy access to numerous attractions and activities

outside of the city limits as well.
